Internal Recruiter

Job Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Recruiter to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent for various positions within our organisation. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, and develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain the best candidates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent

* Source and screen candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and employee referrals

* Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit with our company culture

* Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers on candidate selection, compensation, and other hiring decisions

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking and recruitment databases

* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, including equal employment opportunity and diversity initiatives

* Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders

* Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and other activities to promote our employer brand and attract top talent

* Conduct reference and background checks on selected candidates

* Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires

 

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field

* At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

* Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software

* Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations, including EEO and diversity initiatives

* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders

* Experience in recruiting for a variety of positions, including technical and non-technical roles, is an asset

* Professional certification in HR, such as PHR or SPHR
